Overview: We’ll use the Socratic Seminar approach to discuss Ch. 1-19 of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
Reminder: The goal of a Socratic Seminar is to pose questions and engage in dialogue about those questions. There is no right or wrong, no one person should commandeer the time, and RESPECT is key.
Objectives: I can participate in group discussions. I can prepare for a discussion and use that preparation in the evidence present. I can demonstrate understanding of other perspectives through reflection and paraphrasing.
